KMS Server Connectivity Check

For IT administrators — verify that your organization's KMS server hostname resolves correctly.

ℹ️ Checks run from your browser via DNS-over-HTTPS. Results reflect DNS reachability, not full KMS service availability.

Check Your KMS Server

Enter your organization's internal KMS server hostname or IP address to verify DNS reachability.

How to Find Your KMS Server Address

  • • Ask your IT department or system administrator — they manage the internal KMS server for your organization.
  • • Check your Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC) at microsoft.com/licensing/servicecenter for deployment details.
  • • On a managed Windows machine, run slmgr /dlv in an admin CMD to see the current KMS server in use.
  • • This tool checks DNS resolution only. A successful result does not confirm that the KMS service itself is responding — firewall rules and the KMS server process must also be verified separately.

ℹ️ This tool checks DNS resolution only from your browser. It does not verify that KMS service (TCP port 1688) is actually accepting connections.
